Contract

An agreement is made this day………………………… between……………………………………… (Hereinafter referred to as the hirer of the first part) and Reel Thing Ceilidh Band (hereinafter referred to as the artiste .)

Witness that the hirer hereby engages The Reel Thing Ceilidh Band as known and as per the schedule below or in the schedule of performances attached to and forming part of this contract, subject to the under mentioned conditions.

Schedule

1. The artist agrees to appear on ……………………… for one performance(s) between the hours of ……. and…Midnight with breaks at …….to facilitate the change round of equipment and comfort for a fee of £ ...… Payable as cash at the venue on the said date. The performance will consist of 2 sets. One set of the ceilidh band before the first break and the second set of disco.

2. Artiste will be set and sound checked as required. The artist requires 1 hour prior to the start time to accomplish this. Performance durations will be as directed. The artiste will present on time to achieve this and will not be held responsible for any delays incurred by the hirer of the first part or any other contractors.

3. This contract confirms the verbal contract already made between the artiste and the hirer.

4. In the event of cancellation by the hirer the following fees will apply:

A £50 deposit deductable from the total payable in advance will confirm a booking. This is forfeit should the hirer cancel the band.

I/We the undersigned acknowledge that I/we have read the above agreement together with any appendices and agree that it will be adhered to in detail.
